Find Your Happy Place

Do you have a happy place? You know, that place where you go to get away from everything and everyone? I hope you have one. Otherwise, I'm just going to stand over here for a little bit while I wait for you to calm down. Sometimes there are certain situations in which you just have to pull yourself back from. I mean, it's not worth it to let something or somebody get to you. You are not that kind of person. You are better than that. There are other times when you have to face things. Instead of standing back in the corner waiting for the whole thing to resolve, you find yourself taking action. But there is good news. You can turn that situation into something good. If there's a will, there's a way. Truly happy people don't just let their storm swallow them up. They find a way to use it to their advantage and change it into something good. They find themselves smiling even when it's hardest. Just go to that place and carry on.

Cyrano De Bergerac Act IV: Christian's point of view

I decided to leave. I am done trying to impress Roxane. Faking a personality that is not my own. I have been dreadfully cursed with charming good looks and stupidity even a box could recognize. I want Roxane to love me for who I am and she cannot if she does not even know me. I am tired of letting Cyrano give me "favors" or whatever you want to call those love letters. I told him he can have her. After all, they were more meant to be. I am going out into the war to die trying with dignity. To say that I at least made something out of my life and risked it for others. I do not want to die weeping over a person. I want to die strong. If I may live past this unfortunate event, I will start fresh. Time doesn't seem to be on my side though. Deep down, way deep down, past Cyrano's gigantic nose there may be a good person. I just don't know if Roxane will be able to look beyond it. They are, or soon will be talking. Probably planning a date after this is all over. They will forget about me. I hope Roxane will understand and be able to move on. I guess you will be the one to see, because I am leaving.

Sincerely, Christian

Motivation

Somebody, please tell me you have seen this movie (The pursuit of happyness)? Yes, it is spelled with a Y, for those of you who are wondering. This is one of the most memorable parts in the entire movie for me because it is pretty much his only shot in getting a job. It's very motivational in teaching us to never give up even when you think your life is completely over. Most of us over exaggerate when we say "Oh, no! My life is over!" When we know that in reality, we still have family and friends to go home to. This movie shows that if you work really hard, harder than you have ever worked in your entire life, then good things will eventually come your way. Im not trying to sound like a fortune cookie when I say this but it's just a fact. If you have a strong motivation for something, then I dont see why you cant accomplish anything. This is a really emotional movie, probably for a lot of people. I like how even after they told him to come back, he was so appreciative and thats what it's all about. If you weren't thankful for anything, then you probably wouldn't have any motivation or better goals for yourself to get out of the bad state of being that you are in right now. Hypothetically speaking, anyway. Even though I am pretty sure that we all have goals for ourselves. Motivation is a key in having a successful future.

Courage

When you think of courage, do you think of heroism? Saving someone out of a burning building? What about sticking up for a friend when no one else would? Courage isn't always the big things in life that you hear about on T.V. Courage can be the little things that probably go unnoticed. Those times in life when you want to give up so bad, but you don't. That may be one of the most important act of courage there is. You could even smile at a person you have never met before and make a difference in their life. They might of been having a bad day, and by your small act of courage, you just made them feel better. Sometimes you just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone. What I say to that is to stay motivated, stick to your beliefs, and to never let someone get the best of you.

My Dream House

Haven't you ever wondered what your dream house would look like? Well I have, and these are just a few of my  ideas. First off, I would want to have the most awesome and spectacular door bell ever. I would want it to sing a different song to me everytime someone rings it, so I wouldnt get tired or annoyed by it. I would have my house based on mystery and my guests would always be surprised. My house would be one of those mystery houses that would have that one revolving book shelf that opens up  to a new room. Behind that bookshelf would be "the control room" where I would be able to do anything and everything. Just one push and it would instantly transform my house to whatever I wanted. Every time I make coffee, my coffee pot would say good morning. Thats the kind of house that I would like to come home to after a hard day of work. My house could sense my mood and would rain confetti if I needed a pick me up. What would you want your house to be like?

In a world of "what if's"

To me this is the biggest question in the world. The thought of "what if" comes from creativity and turning the impossible, possible. Often people say that if you cant see something then its not real.Well what if it really did exist and its only the creative people that are able to see it? The people that answer negative to what if questions are the ones who are afraid of possibilities. To others, the possibilities are endless. For example, what if magic really did exist and were just not looking hard enough because the negative vibes around us are telling us not to. You may think I am just a tad bit crazy but I really don't care. What if you had the chance to change a million lives today because of what you believe. Should people criticize you just for speaking your mind? The only way our world is where it is today is because of the "what if people" who imagine stuff and turn it into reality. Don't be afraid to take chances even if it means failing a lot of times. I often catch myself thinking of "what if" questions. When your little you think of an idea and you think that you are the only person in the world who has ever thought of it. Sad to say, but a million people before you probably have also. Meanwhile, our engineering minds are actually creating it somewhere along the road.

The person you are

I decided to write about this quote because it is what everyone should strive to be. Before you can even expect someone to be your friend or whatever, you should know who you are as a person. I know it kind of sounds weird because your like "hey, I already know who I am". Do you really? Don't try to pretend to be a person that people want you to be, just be yourself. People will accept you for who you are as a true person.

A slice of life

I really want to know the big family secret that everyone is talking about but me. I can't find out until this weekend and im kind of nervous. We have family coming over that we have'nt seen since about eight years, and they are coming to talk with a person in my family but my mom wont tell me who. I really wish they would stop keeping stuff from me especially since I am the last to know everything.
